Help with Command grabs
So mk11cis the first fighting game that I take seriously and I really like it and try to get good at it. I have invested quite abut of time in it so far.

I am having an issue eith incorporating command grabs ( the DBF 1 or 2 ...) into combos with jax and terminator. It usually ends up being a DB something, and I just cant seem to do it properly. Any tips could br helpful

I am using an Xbox one controller and I use the d pad. (If you have better controllers also suggest them)

Go to the lab and check your inputs..

I actually checked and more often than not my inputs are correct. I also discovered that sometimes I can special cancel by just inputing the directional buttons only

For example with terminator I can do 121 bf amp to get the sawn off with amplfy wuthout having to fully register bf1.

I was wondering it may be a settings thing?

Input window timing - short
KB held check - yes
release check - off
acternative control - off
input shortcuts - off
button shortcuts - yes

Definetly sounds like release check on

Set it to off, as the last comment say, everything except off except button shorcuts, and for the windows timing try to find something comfortable to you, for me medium or long are better settings deoending on the character you use

Thank you, the 3 of you
But the guy on the video is using a PS4 controller, that is what we all should be using... Xbox one controllers are broken for this game... All xbox controllers actually... I changed 4 xbox 360 controllers then I bought a Xbox One controller and boom, the game isnt respecting my inputs...

I actually can't do Deathgrip with Terminator. Says Down+LB but doing that only does his normal throw. Says it can be amped too and when I try it's nothing different so that pretty much confirms Deathgrip either doesn't exist or needs to be done a different way.

Edit: Oops... looked at the move in Kustomize and it's an air throw. Would be nice if that was mentioned in the Moves list. -_-
