Metal Slug 4, 5, and 6 When?

Same, but I think MS 4 and 5 will come before because MS6 didn't come on Arcade first

MS6 came on arcade first then the PS2 port followed, what're you talking about.

I didn't know that... I thought MS5 was the last "true" arcade MS game

Yeah, you might be confused by MS5 is the last arcade MS game released on the Neo-Geo.

MS6 is the last arcade MS game proper since it's released on the Atomiswave arcade system.

Yeah, then MS7/XX were made for the handheld.

I hope they could emulate the atomisware properly

Every version that isn't the original arcade MS6 is emulated as far as I know even on consoles and that would include all versions of Metal Slug Anthology and Metal Slug Complete Collection on PC. Yes Metal Slug 7 was a Nintendo DS exclusive and then Metal Slug XX was a revamped version of MS7 for PSP (Playstation Portable) and Leona was paid DLC. Now we have XX on PC in whole but not without its flaws.

Well you could argue about the other games being emulated, but 6 has to be since it is unique in the series that it runs on Sega/Naomi/Atomiswave hardware/software/bios that even Mame can't emulate, however Dreamcast emulators and other emulators oddly can.

Yeah, it's hard to make an arcade-perfect version then (btw the Naomi is basically the arcade version of the Dreamcast)

I wish MSXX could include an MS7 mode (but that's better than nothing, MSX made MS2 obsolete)
