What is this? Is this new sequel?
Interesting thing, wikipedia says metal slug 7 is released 31 january for PC, is this 7th part, or some mix?

No, it came out on the PSP right after Metal Slug 7...

It's basically like Metal Slug X for Metal Slug 2, it added some features

this was orignally releaed in 2009. PS3

You're all wrong. (except NeonDrare) Metal Slug XX is a remake of the DS game Metal Slug 7. It's the same game as 7 just without the DS dual screen gimmick, and with some extra content. XX was initially released on the PSP. The PC version is the same as all the other XX releases (including PSP) but is a bad port. They're hyping it up like it's some kind of new game, but it's a rerelease of a rerelease. Shameful.

Metal Slug XX is Metal Slug 7's enhanced version...

It's not a remake, it's basically the same game with added features.

PS: this PC port came from the PS4 remaster that came out last year

so basically exactly what I said above. Except that I said it was a remake. I confused that with rerelease, because it's the same game with a bit of extra content.

You forgot this also released on X360/X1 (BC), and even that version was good, with online co-op and leaderboards. If only they ported that version easily though. >.>
