Is this game always in free play mode?
I've notice I have unlimited continues which kind of takes away the fun and challenge in this game, there's no way to play with limited continues?

Maybe it has something to do with it being a port of the PSP game which was a port of Metal Slug 7 on DS, for both there is no Arcade equivalent. There is at least the penalty of losing your score after continuing and losing rescued POWs.

That's disappointing but anyways thanks for the reply, I guess I have to force myself not to abuse the unlimited continues to try and challenge myself I guess.
