I found some problems/bugs with custom weapons.

Space bar is also “confirm” on the naming screen, so when I type a space I also have to press Backspace to go back to typing...

Huh, space bar isn’t assigned to anything. I thought I could outsmart the issue.

It seems that weapons created while online do not show up while offline (in the Blacksmith menu).
But weapons created while offline do show up online.



Editing an offline weapon while online will upload it to the Workshop, but it also makes a copy show up in the list (and they’re both the newly edited version).

Exiting and reloading the game will remove the copy... I do not not what happens if you were to have a full list when you make the glitch copy happen. That could be bad.

(Also, it seems choosing to delete one will end up deleting both, or at least the one I deleted did that. So for now, do the exit and reload.)



And now my uploaded weapon isn’t showing up offline anymore... That’s not cool. Can it still show up in-game?

Thank you for having a close look at the custom weapon tool. :)
It's true if you are using the keyboard to type the title, there will be a conflict for the space bar. You can still type fine using the up/down/left/right + confirm buttons though.

We've just found a fix for the issue with online weapons not appearing offline and it will be included in the game's next patch. It will prevent from losing any online weapons when offline.
There won't be any copy randomly appearing either after that fix.
