Is this game easy?
Game looks cool, but, I'm worried I'm going to breeze through it. Can anyone who likes bang their head against a game until they get it chime in?

I'm currently playing it on normal, and it feels medium. I'm not sure what they have done for hard mode, but there are some relatively frustrating moments in it. Once you get the basics down though, the bosses fall over. I might try it on hard here soon. Overall, it's a good game with some fantastic art. I would say if you're looking for something mind bogglingly hard, just go elsewhere, but if you want a good game, with good pixel art, good music, good cutscenes, and a cool creator, I would say it's worth the money. Would still appreciate if it was 15, but I get it.

It's pretty easy. I don't play these kinds of games at all, and I had no trouble with it.

I'd call it frustrating, more than challenging.
There's instant-death pits and classic, rigid jumping.

Depends how often you experience retro games, if you haven't played things like ninja gaiden, castlevania, and the likes, this game might be a blast for you. But if you've played the absolute pinnacle of modern retro game-likes like Curse of the moon or Shovel knight, there's not much challenge here, there' just not enough combat depth and clever environmental constructs to keep you interested.

I think the only thing that kept me going was the alright but eventually samey song track and my desire to make custom 8bit weapons.
