What happened to this game?

There were monthly updates for a long time, and now nothing in over three months. Is this game abandoned? It sure looks good, but with me reading about the horribly unbalanced and impossibly difficult campaign, and now no updates from the developer in three months, I'm not sure this is a good buy.

Also - the developer NEVER responds to any posts in this Steam forum. Not a good sign.

I hope the game is still kicking, because I would love to see it completed.

The developer often said that he has difficulty accessing steam because it is blocked in China and he always had to use VPNs to do something. But seeing as the Android-version wasn't updated since March either, there probably is nothing new since then.

If you ignore the campaign and play the random-maps, where you have plenty of difficulty-levels, it is still an enjoyable experience for the price.

agree to Ail. The game as it is (even without regular updates) is totally worth the time and money! And even the campaign is playable with some modding (like explained in other posts). Have fun :)

I'm glad that the game is fun to play right now. I'm very tempted to buy it, but the fact that the developer hasn't put out an update in over three months, when he was previously putting out updates multiple times a month really concerns me.

Is he on Discord actively or something, any way to contact him to see if he's still working on it and when the next updates will be?

I want to buy it, but I DO NOT want to buy an abandoned game.

i really don't think this game is “impossibly difficult” , i just win a game in hardest level within 200 turns, it's 2V2V2, no repeated save&load for equipment.

Yes Koi, if you read my original posting, I was talking about the campaign being brutally impossibly difficult. I understand the skirmish games are more balanced, hopefully.

As much as you folks think the game isn't abandoned, it is. Zero activity or posts or updates from the developer in a LONG, LONG time. I realize the sandbox game is playable, but the campaign is supposedly broken, and it's still in early access.

Shame on you, developer, for abandoning your game.

the developer still updates this game actually，and added a new faction on Android.So we have to wait for it exit ea and sell a dlc.
