Unlock the Campaign, what exactly are "normal games"?

Visiting the Campaign screen presents a message that it is necessary to win at least 3 "normal games" to unlock the Campaign.

What exactly is a "normal game"?

I have completed / won one game played on a small map with "knife to a gunfight" difficulty begun using Start game. This does not appear to be counting towards the three "normal games" I need for the unlock.

Bonus new player question . . . what triggers the random god tier mobs like dragons and angels and demons that roam the map to do take action? I am yet to observe them acting against my faction or another.

Answering my own question! Seems like any map played counts towards the requirement for three "normal" games won. I played several maps on the smallest map setting possible for shorter games and after winning three gained access to the campaign.

May I ask, how far did you come in the campaign. (I stopped at the 3rd map :(

So...there is no certain level of difficulty that is required as NORMAL games to get to the campaign ?..thanks

I would not say it is totally broken. I played to the 9th map of 10, without any flaws and bugs.

The thing is, one has to change the UnitData to adapt the difficulty level and make the campaign playable. Have fun.
