One little wish

[Three of Clubs]

Ok I thought I would try this game on account of how I have always prefered hexs in my strategy games ( versus area movement for example ) and the glowing reviews of Steamers who have played it . And yes it is a very good game . Lots of options , lots of units , good A.I. , just a good all around war game . However I was thinking how I might enjoy the game more if there was an alternative graphic set other than what I would describe as the current " Hello Kitty " one . I know how superficial but there it is .

She has real talent . They are quite good for the genre and the more I play the more I realize I dont need to see the usual fantasy units . Keep up the good work ! Both of you .

I agree. The artwork is excellent, and is a major reason why I purchased the game.

I'm sorry, turn based games tend to have an audience that is mostly adults. I am so tired of these games with graphics that target an 8 year old audience.

I vote for the OPs original suggestion, please offer an alternative set of graphics.

I am so tired of whiny 'adults' who have no idea how much work and effort go into these games and the art specifically and just demand that the developers spend hundreds of hours redoing all the art. Because that has EVER HAPPENED IN A TURN BASED GAME IN THE HISTORY OF OUR SPECIES.

Actually, I am a retired programmer & graphic designer so I know exactly how much work goes into the process. I also know that bad decisions can be made in any project. When customers offer constructive criticism a smart development house listens. In regards to reissuing a game with different graphics it most certainly has happened, usually in the next iteration. Finally, if you want people to take you seriously you should try avoid using caps, it just demonstrates linguistic shortcomings.

Yeah yeah, and I'm a retired warlord from the island of Guam princess. If you want people to take you seriously stop lying. The previous title in the series had the same graphics. The android version doesn't even have the elf DLC yet and you seriously expect a sequel? Pretty obvious you have never done any computer work in your life. But you know what maybe I'm wrong, since you can sit here and criticize others why don't you come up with your own turn based wargame yeah? You can sure whine about it.

Lets change the title. If you guys had said this about Age of Wonders 3 or Endless Legend nobody would take you seriously. Because this is a small development team with small exposure and good community outreach you decide its acceptable behavior to criticize the entire art direction of the game? Don't pretend like you guys are offering constructive critcism. You guys are bullying a small development team because of your own insecurities. Its shameful.

You must be a well intentioned relative or friend with no experience. It's good they have someone of your obvious intellectual caliber to support them, very lucky folks indeed.

I agree. The art style is what attracted me in the first place. I get bored with "realistic" graphics, but I can look at more stylistic graphics all day.

Different strokes for different folks. :)
