Any text editor should suffice, though my preference is for 'notepad ++'
They do however, need to cut the demo down! I could be happy just playing that, there's too much given away. Gamer wise..great. Money wise, not so great. They need to earn to develop I'm sure and $9.99 is not much money.
Thanks for the heads up!
It's nice that you can mod the values to be more sensible but I feel balancing is the job of the devs.
Sensible values & balancing can be widely debated on, particularly in a single player game.
At least the 'devs' were thoughtful enough to allow one to make some adjustments per each one's views on...balance. Not bad for a $10 game.
And I will make all data available for adjusting in next update
Not just another Battle of Wesnoth with a budget! I like that you developers listen! ♥
