Damien route help

Any tips on how to go about Damien's route?
Does it matter if I act innocent or not? Are there any choices I can't mess up if I want to get his ending?

You do have to choose that you want to distract Damien when William talks about it in order to meet Damien in the first place, but there are multiple ways to go about getting his interest.

Once he's interested in you, though, it'll mostly be obvious what actions will end the route. Deliberately breaking up with him, deciding that you hate him, never wanting to see him again, etc.

But I don't want to talk about the last choice on Damien's route if you haven't gotten there yet...

I managed to get his ending~!

Questions though:
I choose to "help him play", since it seemed to be a Damien-y answer. Is that the only right option out of the bunch? And does it matter if i choose to go to the dance with William or not?(I refused)

I went with William and still got Damien's ending so don't worry about it

That is the only answer that leads to his ending (One of the other answers leads to a possible Bad End.)

It doesn't matter who you dance with at the ball, though it might be considered cruel to use poor William that way!

Ah, he isn't potentially/semi-redeemable like in Horse Hall? That's fair. Thanks, I'm glad I don't have to wait for someone to post a guide!

I kind of prefered how Damien's route ended here compared to Horse Hall :3
While it also makes my character a manupulative SOB it felt more natural compared to a sudden change of heart caused by a reletively normal girl
