Steam Deck / Controller play?

I recieved this game on GOG a while ago and I remember really liking it's sense of humour and all around vibe

Thinking about buying a copy on steam so I can play on break at work.

How does this play on controller and more importantly steam deck

This game plays great with my Steam Controller. I can't say how it will run on the Deck, but it does support simultaneous mouse & gamepad input, so you'll be good to go if you like using touchpad & gyro to aim.
