Fatal Error on start up

Whenever I start the game, a "Fatal Error" message pops up. But the start up still plays in the background with the audio. It only closes out when I press "Ok". Is there a fix, I have already tried reinstalling it and setting my Nvidia 3D settings to default

That's a new one for me. Normally I'd say to check your video card drivers, but you did that. You can contact our technical support team and hopefully they can help get to the bottom of it.

Yeah, I get the same thing. Game will still run if I don't press ok. Here is what it says. *had to restart game twice to write it all down. I guess it is timed or something and will close.

This error has happened three times in a row upon going left after jumping the gap after the first cave leaving the ship. Hope the below error info helps.

Edit: I did a force verify. Guess a file didn't download properly. Will see if it works.
Edit2: I guess it was a 3.9GB file? LOL No idea.

Same here 🤬 "Fatal error" and I have tried EVERYTHING!

EDIT! : I was suspecting something with the audio because I managed to get to the start screen, but without sound, after some tinkering.
After seeing this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PLoL9ZTjmU) I tried deactivating ALL sound outputs (NVIDIA High Definition Audio and Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer) except for the one I'm actually using (Realtek High Definition Audio). Now it starts without a problem, so try this! 😎👍
