Help for a Magic Noob.
Hey guys, I, as someone who doesn't have a highly extensive knowledge of MTG, was just curious. Can someone with more know-how than myself please explain to me the difference between the Complete Bundle, the Deck Bundle, and the Foil Bundle? I know that you get both of the latter in the Complete, but what do those really do for you? Halp ;-;

The deck bundle only gives you the keys to unlock all the cards for the deck they represent without having to win duels to unlock. Foils amke all the cards of that deck shiny and there really isn't much reason to do it other than making your cards look special like holographic cards in any Trading Card game. The Gold bundle gives you all the expansions and extra deck packs 1-3. The complete gives you everything the other 3 do together.

So the foil doesn't do anything for you?

The foil doesn't do anything besides alter the cards' appearance. If you've unlocked the promo cards they're all foil so that'll give you an idea of what all your cards would look like if you had the foil conversions.

It's also worth noting that players can turn off the foil option so even if you have the foil conversions they might not even see it.

Wow, man. Seems like a waste of money to buy it. So all the decks from the Gold Deck bundle an be earned in game? How do you go about that? Winning duels? And the gold game bundle, those can't be earned, they're legitimate expansions?

Yeah, just win duels against players or the computer and you'll unlock cards in your own deck, and when you beat any 1v1 AI, except encounters and Nichol Bolas, you'll unlock a deck.

The stuff from the Gold Game Bundle is the only content you have to buy to be able to use.

Wow, man. That's dumb. Who would buy that? That's part of the fun of the game. I will, of course buy the gold game bundle. Gotta get that DLC. If it's legitimate DLC, that is. Thanks for the help guys.
