Missing The Guard and The Seeker achievements

I just finished the game but those 2 achievements did not unlock. Is it possible I missed some puzzles?

First of all thanks for playing through the game!

It sounds like another bug you encountered. Sorry about that. When we patch the game in the next few days you should be able to launch the game once and get the achievements without doing anything else.

Same here, just finished the game, but missing one achievement (The Guard). Looking forward to the patch.

I don't know if I encountered a bug but last night I got an achievement for completing The Nom World and a little 'cutscene' showed a new area unlocking. Only the new area didn't unlock. I still have a couple of puzzles to complete (I am dead stuck on them!) so maybe I need to finish those to progress. It just seemed a bit confusing if it wasn't a bug.

@inspiral: the new area has 3 doors, each door being unlocked after completing the puzzles in the 3 areas with the different 3 characters, the norn, the guard and the seeker. The norn only unlocks the first door. That must have been the cutscene you saw.

Hm, I'm seeing three locked doors (gold force fields) even though I completed all the Nom levels. I thought finishing Nom should have unlocked one of those three force fields. while the remaining Seeker and Guard puzzle (I have one of each to do) would open the other two force fields.

So to completely explain the progression and what you should be expecting, be careful the following are spoilers



There are 4 characters.
Each character has their own color (Norn is blue, Seeker is orange, Guard is purple, Burdened is white).
When you clear every single bell of a single color - say you clear all blue bells - then you should both get an achievement (In this case The Norn) and the gate with the corresponding blue symbol on it should go down.

This is the same for all of the first three characters. As soon as you have completed all levels of each of the three first colors, all three gates should be down and you should be able to access the final character.

The 3 doors are not force fields. There are the three consecutive grey doors you find in the middle of the world map. On each one of them you can see the sun symbol of the corresponding character colors. The norn door is the 1st door. The guard the 2nd and the seeker the 3rd.

Ok, I reset my progress (removed the save file and turned steam cloud off), replayed starter Norn levels and then all the Guard ones, this way got the achievement finally.

Hmm, too bad you had to reset the save. We've not been able to find the issue that broke the achievement before the update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Before the update, if we completed the guard before the norn, then we could not get the guard and seeker achievements after getting the norn.

Ah okay, but that issue was fixed after update for you as well? Did you have to reset the save too or were you able to get the achievements without playing through those parts again?

I'm glad it works anyway. And it was fairly easy to replay the levels, having completed them before, I remembered at least the general direction for solving the most difficult ones.

:/ Sorry, I admit I was not patient enough to wait for the update. I just did a reset and replayed everything. But it went much faster this time and I loved playing it. Any plans for an altered 2?

Before the update I unlocked The Norn achievement after The Seeker, I guess because some Norn levels are locked behind Seeker's and Guard's levels.
