Finally a good looking game about gladiators

Really, the last good games about gladiators were like Gladius and Shadow of Rome, both from PS2.

Shadow of Rome was so good! I completely forgot about it that game.

Pretty sure this game's cheer mechanic and the crowd throwing in weapons is straight from Shadow of Rome. Always wished that game got a sequel.

I watched Gladiator again last night in preparation for tomorrow's EA release. I tried out several gladiator management games in the past but all of them fell short. This one looks more promising. Got my fingers crossed.

Yeah man, been a while since we had a proper Gladiatorial game. This one certainly looks promising. Day 1 purchase for me. Looking forward to playing it.

Thank you for the tutorial. I do love gladiator games, but this one, I simply cant deal with fighting a camera AND the controls this much while fighting tough opponents I'm sorry. BUT... I greatly admire the one man dev team achievement here. And I love this genre so to see so many people genuinely happy about his game, trust me you wont see any bashing or anything over here. I wish this game and the community well. You folks have a fan who will be paying attention to whatever improvements come this way and whatever comes next :)

you should see exanima...much less 'cartoony' physics, more weighty, but camera is even harder to control than this....in that you generally dont control it, and your WSAD movement is based off character rotation, not the screen....so yeah XD

Yeah, sequel would be amazing, sadly the franchise if forgotten.
