Beverly's story on hold

I've been unable to move forward in Bev's story since she's been wanting me to find a chest in one of the city-like islands that reminds her of her family vacations. Unfortunately, I've already opened that chest waaay before she came onto my boat. Is this a glitch? Or is there any way I can move past this but still move forward in her story without deleting my save file/starting new?

You might already have the content of the chest in your inventory. Do you have any acetate?

Didn't mean to ghost you there , but no I do not have any acetate :( or at least none that I could tell in my inventory.

Normally there is failsafes in place to prevent what you are experiencing from happening. If you share your save file, I can look at what happened.

Yeah totally! However, I can't seem to get a sharable copy of the save file or player log, even though i've been using yalls guides to that :(

Sorry for the late answer, I somehow missed your reply! You can find your save file at

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Thunder Lotus Games\Spiritfarer\SF_SAVE_GAME0.sav

AppData is a hidden folder, you'll to enable "show hidden folders" to see it.

Sorry for the late answer, I somehow missed your reply! You can find your save file at

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Thunder Lotus Games\Spiritfarer\SF_SAVE_GAME0.sav

Holiday seasons suck BUT i was able to find it and uploaded it into your websites support request! I apologize for my delay in responses that caused this to drag on way longer then necessary !! I haven't found one yet I reported the bug on their website but have yet to hear anything from them. I wish i could be of more assistance for you, but i'm just planning on starting a new game and knowing to not touch the acetate if nothing happens soon :(

Our support team has a backlog to go through following the holiday vacations, sorry about the delay! One user was reporting the same issue but was simply not checking the correct chest (perhaps there is an outdated guide somewhere?) The acetate is found on the top of the left-most tower.

Mmh unfortunately I'm quite sure I checked all those chests, and they're all empty. I think I found this acetate too soon (sorryyy), and sold it.
Is there something I can modify on my .sav file perhaps ? Or to search in it, in order to help you ?

You can't sale the acetate, so at least there is no chance of that. If you want I can look at your .sav file and see what is happening.

Excuse me, I have this same error, can I send my save? it's that it frustrates me that I can't continue because I checked all the chests and I don't have the acetate

Sure! That being said, every person that sent me their save turned out to be checking the wrong location. Make sure you check the top of the leftmost tower on the island "Old District".
