Sadly t I've tried that and I just trigger the double jump instead of the bounce.
It's super intriguing because the double jump VFX is right on the bounce surface; so I know my timing is decent.
I'm stuck until they either make the timing more lenient or introduce an option for it.
I just have to be patient :)
So, using the image as a ref, it's much better to tap the input on the way down, when the player's character feet are in the green box, rather than be pinpoint precise and tap hen they are in the red zone.

I kinda which it had a window on the way up, but I'm happy I figure it out :)
