Bounce mechanic difficult to get consistenly
I've been enjoying this game a whole lot! but
I've unlocked the bounce skill for 2+ hours and I'm still not sure what's the intended to trigger it: my working theory is that I have to somehow hold the jump button as I land on the bouncy element ?
Is that right? If so, I feel the window of opportunity is way too small.

it may be my own skill level, but I've been doing fine on other skills/crafting mechanics and have tried on gamepad as well as mouse and keyboard.

In any case, this sort of create significant frustration as I've ferried 6 or 7 characters, and there are a few places I can't progress in (Crow's End Inc. and Grey Mist peaks) and I can't tell if that because I'm missing some extra skill or because of my execution is too poor.

That sucks! Its hard to figure out advice, but for me I press the A button (a good solid press but not holding it) when I land on the tent. If I'm doing it right, I gain more and more height every time I land
Thanks for the tip!
Sadly t I've tried that and I just trigger the double jump instead of the bounce.

It's super intriguing because the double jump VFX is right on the bounce surface; so I know my timing is decent.

I'm stuck until they either make the timing more lenient or introduce an option for it.

I just have to be patient :)
Ooooh, so I played after posting and I think I finally figured it out. The input window for the jump largely exits BEFORE reaching the surface and probably NOT AFTER.
So, using the image as a ref, it's much better to tap the input on the way down, when the player's character feet are in the green box, rather than be pinpoint precise and tap hen they are in the red zone.

I kinda which it had a window on the way up, but I'm happy I figure it out :)
