An unreachable gold ore

There is one gold ore in Southpoint Docks. It's located on the highest platform. Whatever I do I just can't reach it. I've been trying to glide up to it for 30 minutes. It's all vainly. Who managed to do that? And yet remembers how exactly. Or instead tell how else I can obtain some gold ores (just in case, I am at the act where I can't confront fog so far). Without them i won't be able to proceed Gustav's line.

The intention is to only get gold ore after passing the fog barriers. Apparently there's a sequence-break available at Southpoint Docks to get gold early, requiring you to time the inputs in order to drop through a platform while falling from a height without breaking the fall, and then Bounce off something at ground level in order to get the required height, but passing through the fog (and getting a new ability) is the intended way.
