Some things I noticed that might help y'all:
1) Things get at least a little bit easier when you turn down the pressing background music. At least it helped me focus and also gave me the patience to wait and watch how the body moves. Sounds silly, but it *does* have an effect.
2) Apparently the game screen changes once the tail of the dragon comes out of the water and waves around, so it is in the picture and you can take it into account. Which sounds nice in theory, but if this happens at the very opposite of where you are atm this means the screen zooms out A LOT and interrupts the game significantly for something that doesn't affect you due to the big distance. Dear developers, if you read this: Please change that!
3) About the dash: Keep in mind, that the dash has a cooldown. To check if it is available again, look at Stellas belt, the light is dimmed/gone right after the dash. When it's shining bright again, the ability is available.
You can also try lancelot's suggestion, maybe that works for you. Aiming was a bit tricky for me with that though and sometimes getting the jump right took me more than going back and jumping over the body loops again as intended. So maybe do on run where you only practice that or try to learn the movement patterns (or both).
This quest was first time I did not really liked this game (okay, that is pretty midly put...), as otherwise I have loved it. I get some sort of slight anxiety with timers anyway.
Mind you, I didn't have Buck until just now so I think I was missing a necessary ability. (The thing that clued me in was that Elena said that I should be using an ability I didn't have yet.)
Thank you for this perfect and easy solution.
