Tuna Tataki

Please help! I'm stuck on Atul's family dinner request. Gustav wants tuna tataki, but I don't have the mist cleaner to make it. I also can't find any bottled ectoplasm to upgrade my boat. I've read that you don't need the mist cleaner for the tuna tataki recipe (onion, garlic, olives), but every other post says you need to go through the mist to get it. Another option is to get the mysterious seed to grow the mushroom spirit, but Francis never has it. I'm completely stuck and can't move forward.

The mysterious seed is got by fishing, not by buying from Francis.

The mystery seed is found via fishing while at the Everdoor, once you do that you can get Stanley, which in turn, will allow you to unlock the ectoplasm event.

For Tuna Tataki, olive tree seed's can be purchased from Edgeborough Lane, which only requires the rock destroyer upgrade. Olives count as a savory vegetable in game, so you can use it with tuna in order to make tuna tataki ! :)
