I need the rock upgrade, and I have no clue how to find fireglow. Please help?

fireglow comes from a seed that you get during the mini event, fireflies.

what does this mean, i've got the ice breaker gone to every island have double jump zip line glide i've gotten every spirit avaiblie and cant progress in the story

You need Gustav, the bird, on your boat in ordeer to trigger that event.

the Gustav event is very similar to the Gwen jelly event, and the icon spawns in map very similar to it after you've got Gustav on ship. So, you should pay attention to all the purple icons in the map and identificate the one with fireflies
