But I did get through it - and if I got it right (the in-game space you are talking about) then it's not that hard. Either way - left or right - works. Just time your jumps right. No, dash not needed, just double jump.
And yes, I am bad at platformers too.
P.S. If you think this is hard - wait until later in the game, one of the spirits have a funky platformer to solve... and it's a 3-parter too!
And later one - it's not that it is actually so much more difficult - it's mostly just... different. Like the spirit that it is tied with. Oops, almost spoilers!
