please devs, make elena's errands not required to complete the game. i am so close to beating the game, but the one thing in my way is a whole gem, garden, and fish collection. i genuinely despise this character and even after their second death they still remain an annoyance

If she's through the door then the rest of her fetch quests are optional. Unless you're ocd like me :)

I am pretty sure you are not required to sent all spirits through the Everdoor even to beat the game. If you have already sent her through the Everdoor and these are her post quests, you really don't have to do them. That said, her errands were way easier than the Collector rewards.

Gems are SUPER easy to get later in the game if you are struggling now as there is a final ability upgrade that makes mining minerals give you gems.

Not sure what you mean by garden, do you mean recipes? That is the most tedious activity in the game, way more than Elena. 🤣

No, of course not, but you said to beat the game - you don't need 100% of everything done to beat the game. Obviously some of the 100% tasks you might not enjoy because they can be tedious, much like any Steam achievement for a game you want 100% on. I don't see the difference. I certainly found cooking one of everything more tedious than Elena's missions.
