It takes a short time to cook popcorn.
Why does it take 1 full day and to evening the next day to burn popcorn?
That is almost two days to burn popcorn.

I understand why they may have made cooking this forgiving. There is a lot of stuff to do while the oven is ringing to take the dish out of the oven.
Thank you for the extra time to save the dish from burning,but to wait nearly two days for popcorn to burn is a bit ridiculous.

Please allow recipes that take a very short time to cook to burn in less time.
Recipes that take a very short time to cook may need to be watched closely so it doesn't burn.

It makes more sense to me that some recipes that take a short time to cook may burn in the same day if you do not watch it.

It doesn't need to be complicated.

Just choose some very short cook time recipes to burn in the same day.
Maybe two day phases should pass before a recipe with a short cook time burns.

This would have been a good suggestion! Initially things burned relatively quickly and it didn't feel fun. We decided to practically remove the concept of burning things, making sure the player almost always had to do it on purpose. You are 100% correct that it would have been fine to make popcorn and other fast dishes burn quickly.
