What can the coop player in the role of the cat do?

How does gameplay look for a second player in split screen?

I want to play this with someone in Splitscreen but i do not want to bring it up really if the gameplay for the second player is rather minimal.

You can do everything Stella (The Main Character) can do, everything but some interactions with the guests... like farewells and whatnot. Id also suggest the person who is the slower reader play Stella as they can dictate how fast the dialogue is. Played this with the Misses and has been one of our favorites! (I was the cat)

I mean it helps, but i am sort of introducing a grown up into games beyond the shallow depth of facebook and pay to win phone games and i don't want them to feel belittled trough surface level gameplay and participation. :-P
