Zip lining makes me very angry
So I was having a great time in the game until I learned the zip lining skill. So now I am stuck in the quarry because I can't figure out how to zip line to the top. Way too much buttons to push at once. This really sucks.

Hold up when you're over the zip line and let go once you attach on.

Way too many? You need to press 2, W and Space. When near the line, press W. To get off it, press Space.

Where is the difficulty here?

It takes some practice to get used to i'll give you that. Maybe it's because of the speed while you're on the zip line that's causing you trouble. Here's some "tricks" if you will that i've learned with this skill that might help you.

1) Once you're on the zip line you don't need to hold W. So just tap it once and you're on the line
2) You can change direction while on the zip line without needing to jump just simply tap A or D
3) Changing direction while on a zip line slows you down giving you a chance to not only see the area, but plan where you can/need to go.

i hope this helps you a bit ^_^

Thanks Remnantmand!! Your very kind. I am an older gamer. I used to play tons of platforms back in the day so I am a little rusty.

Ok I figured out the problem is that I can't jump from line to line. I'm going so freaking fast on the line and the double jump doesn't work half the time. I'm tearing my hair out.

Like Remnantmind said, practice reversing direction a few times when you're on a zipline--doing so will slow you down and let you control Stella. Go slowly, that way you can see your surroundings better and you'll be able to plan where you need to go/jump to next.

It is definitely challenging, but you'd be surprised how quickly you'll begin to get the hang of it, especially if you've done some platforming in the past (like a bicycle, no?). The first time I went into that mine I got very frustrated and quit the game for a day. I didn't return to that mine for a while, but when I finally did I sailed through it thinking, "ok, where's the impossible part?" only to discover I'd beefed up my skills enough to be able to manage just fine.

Good luck!
