So my only missing person is Giovanni and without him i cant get the last material i need....im just shipping around right now looking everywhere.its frustrating so some sweet hint would be nice!! THANKS

At one point you may have visited a town where you ran past a person with a big shadow (aka, a spirit you'll get later), and when you spoke to them they said, "I'm waiting for someone." Something like that. That might be him!

If you need a better hint than that, you'll need someone who has played the game more recently to tell you the town specifically, sorry!

well i know exactly where he is but he still gives me his line and thats it -_- despite that im still very thankfull for your advice ;)

You get Giovanni by doing Astrid's route

well i know exactly where he is but he still gives me his line and thats it -_- despite that im still very thankfull for your advice ;)

If you've met everyone else possible, then you should be able to get him simply by progressing the storylines of spirits on your ship. If not, maybe you need to check out the industrial business island that's eastish of the shipwright.

i have astrid (storyline stuck thanks to giovanni)
atul wants me to build something i cant since i need giovanni to collect the missing things

It's impossible to be stuck by giovanni with astrid because you need to complete astrid route to get Giovanni

Honestly, it sounds like a glitch. I'd close the game, reload, and do some other stuff (if you can) for a little while until she hopefully talks to you. If it doesn't work, I'd post this again as a bug report / technical support request.

You'd probably remember her. She's an exceptionally bossy doggo, tall and wirey with green fluff on her chest.

Hello! Could you provide more detail for how you are stuck? You should be able to get Giovanni by following Astrid's questline until she asks to go to Loneberg. If you are stuck at a specific point, please specify where.

It is possible to get a little bit stuck, because of missing components for the ship upgrate to get through the rocks line. Some missing components can be found in the ice region by collecting the ship wrecks (marmor was it, I think). All needed components can be seen in the quest logs (with tab, second page)

You should not need access to the rock region to get Giovanni on your ship, as he is found in the Ice Region.
