Windmill drives me insane to use

The windmill is a nuisance to use.
first off, the position it needs to be in changes WAY too much and WAY too far.
Can't it be a simple, crank-and-wait machine rather than whack-a-mole in slow motion?

Try setting the windmill to the correct setting at night while the boat is stationary and then sleep.
This seems to "set" the wind to that same value for the entire night. It's not perfect but you shouldn't really need a ton of flour anyway.

Yeah, I personally wish I could crush all the grains into flours. Makes sense, as it works for corn flour.
I accidentally scrapped my windmill thinking stanley would unlock more forms of crushing for wheat & rice.
