Why is this listed as Kami?
What's Kami?

Good catch, we'll look into it!

Yeah, that's mildly annoying problem, since all steam links to this beautiful game are now listed as 'Kami', including "Wishlisted" messages on the activity feed.

Looking forward to the game, though! It's one of the brightest highlights of this E3. :cozyjunimogreen:

Totally agree, and it is something we'll be looking to get sorted out asap. Glad you still managed to find your way here though!

Literally yes, but in Japanese philosophy and Shintoism, almost anything can be a "kami." So in a sense it can be used to describe a "greater spirit" or a "spirit with personality."

Well a "Kami" gets worshipped, so only Spirits that get "worshipped" would be Kami.
There's a lot of words that describe similar things in Japanese.

Cheers, found this thread after searching for "KAMI" - which I found to be the folder of that contains this game (still the case as of fresh installation in August 2021). I was initially confused how does a casual 2D puzzle game take up 7GB.

Mildly annoying that Spiritfarer and the actual Kami game (the casual 2D puzzle) conflict. :steamfacepalm:

If you need to have both installed and are looking for a workaround, set up a separate Steam library folder.
