Well a "Kami" gets worshipped, so only Spirits that get "worshipped" would be Kami.
There's a lot of words that describe similar things in Japanese.
Mildly annoying that Spiritfarer and the actual Kami game (the casual 2D puzzle) conflict.
If you need to have both installed and are looking for a workaround, set up a separate Steam library folder.
