Necroing an old(ish) thread here, but because Poland has regional pricing that was not available at the time that Timegate studio's ceased to exist, you can't buy the game. You'll only be able to buy it if whoever owns the ip updates the pricing. The only work around is having someone gift you the game(s).
thanks

Australia needs regional pricing as well.

Is there any way around that? It's on a superb discount now and I can't get it.
If someone out there is able to set a discount, then surely they're also able to add prices in all currencies?

It is region-locked unfortunately. There is no way for anyone buy a game in one region and gift it someone in a region where it is locked. Further details here:

I was gifted Kohan Warchest by a friend from another EU country, and it worked, so that's one way at least.

As Kinja said above, it seems the went devs bankrupt. I'm guessing their license to sell in many regions expired and they weren't re-established because the studio is dead. I didn't know this game was available outside grey-market sites so thanks lol

According to steamdb, these are the countries that have this game: https://steamdb.info/app/97110/

I think our best hope to get this is to trade for it from a friend from a country where its available.

Thanks again for the heads-up, I thought this was universally unavailable.

Quote from another thread. Another possible explanation for it is that the prices in those other currencies were just never set, as the game was thrown up on Steam with minimal effort. Still happy it's here, but I think we can all agree it's just not maintained. Things used to work just fine when everybody was using Windows 7, now we have major issues and needing other fixes when everybody is on Win 10.

This doesn't seem correct. When I was using ZAR, a friend bought it for me with GBP and gifted it to me. You can receive it as a gift, there's just no price for you and therefore you're unable to buy.

So if your steam account is using anything other than USD or GBP, you're unlikely to be able to buy it. I was unable to buy when using ZAR, and when I switched to GBP (moved countries) now I can buy as many copies as I want, it's pretty much down to laziness I think.

They set prices in the currencies that were available when the game was released on Steam, but didn't set the prices in new currencies added by Valve later. It's a problem with many other games as well.

Yet another symptom of neglect yeah. This game and its KAG cousin are far from dead and are still played very often by people, but the neglect on Steam turns a lot of people away.
