Section 8: Prejudice

Section 8: Prejudice

Game won't launch
I haven't played this in around a month or so and decided to play it again. I tried starting it, but the "launching Section 8 Prejudice" came up and then disappeared, and the game didn't launch. I tried this several more times, which didn't work either. I've tried verifying the game cache, reinstalling it, and restarting my computer, none of which worked. What's the issue?

Try going to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common open the section 8 folder and right click application file to run as admin.

I have my auto updates off, so it hasn't automatically updated. I'd like to stay with Wndows 7.

Specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
Processor - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, 3.00 GHz
4 GB RAM
No graphics card at the moment

No, this is the same as I've played it ever since I got it, which was a few months ago.

Search gfwl in your search bar open it log in there and save info then try launching the game. Thats all i can think of, i had problems when i started playing S8 on another account i have and it was related to gfwl and sometimes run as admin.

Well, I have no idea at all what I did, but I guess it's working now. Didn't try the GFWL thing or anything, it just works now.
