Games for windows live no longer available

All download links and files that were formerly used to get this game working are no longer viable, as it appears microsoft has completely canned the entire thing, leaving this game and all those who enjoy it doomed to be unable to play it.

Attempts to install this will fail, the download starts, and at the 60% mark it fails to an unknown Error.

Everyone the Official GFWL Marketplace installer will fail in 60% in its installation process since Microsoft has officialy removed Windows Live ID Assistant from their official web sources. So you need to install it manually now. Use the following link to get it. Then run the GFWL Marketplace Installer again and it will continue. Cheers.

I'm kinda.... worried about downloading and installing executables from some direct download link site.
Is there really no official Microsoft archive or anything?
Or some way to use local LAN games, over the internet?

I have installed it, just uninstall any previous GFWL installs.

Games for windows Live is still online but will shut down if the Xbox 360 LIVE is shut down.. I am playing this game on GFWL physical disc and runs perfectly on windows 11
