i had to set the resolution in an .ini file because it started in 1600x1200 or even a less 4:3 resolution
you guys could try to set ur windows resolution that far low before starting the game, maybe its failing because of that
Edit:
or check the .ini for the correct resolution:
Go to the configuration file(s) location: <path-to-game>\data\configuration\game
there edit settings.xml.
Set the ENGINE_RESOLUTION_X and ENGINE_RESOLUTION_Y values to the resolution you want.
Save the changes and close the file and try agin
gl
Set the ENGINE_RESOLUTION_X = 1024 and ENGINE_RESOLUTION_Y = 768
Set the ENGINE_FULLSCREEN value to 0
Save the changes and close the file.
getting an error message when exiting the game btw ...game no more functioning, bla bla , but it does
I made these changes and the game started but in a windowed mode and textures glitch when i move over the cursor on them.
Set the ENGINE_RESOLUTION_X = 1024 and ENGINE_RESOLUTION_Y = 768
Set the ENGINE_FULLSCREEN value to 0
Save the changes and close the file."?
Please, explain it to me in "human" terms.
Go to the configuration file(s) location: <path-to-game>\data\configuration\game

path to game --> Right click on your game in steam libary --> find : Browse local files
open file setings.xml and search for :
ENGINE_RESOLUTION_X and ENGINE_RESOLUTION_Y ...and set to values matching your monitors resolution.

If its not working...try to lower the resolution for example as dngisla did in the thread
