The First Mission
Is it me or is this really hard for a first mission? Please tell me if anyone else is having trouble. So, the game sort of points you to the store before you do anything else. Without knowing what to spend money on, I just sort of bought a little of everything, which was apparently the wrong choice. I should've been gearing up for non-lethal, apparently. The first mission puts you in a situation where you need to take down civilian guards and you really shouldn't hurt them, so a non-lethal approach is ideal.

Too late, though. I spent my money already and only bought one flashbang and didn't get a taser. The guards are many, some of them patrol, and they're clustered together in such a way that it makes it difficult to arrest them without alerting others. That is, unless you want to take chances on telling them to freeze from a distance, which, if it fails, is going to alert them and screw you over anyway. A slow, methodical approach could work, but you don't really have the time for that because the game puts you on a 14 turn limit right out of the gate. Not only that, but you're split into two groups, reducing your available manpower even further. Hell, I didn't even have enough guns so I only brought five cops, not six.

I've tried going slowly and creeping up on these guys but I just don't think you have the time to do that. I've tried rushing it, but I wind up setting off the alart and then a gunfight starts and my only real option from there is to start killing people, apparently. So I'm sort of frustrated with what seems to be a very difficult mission right out of the gate that the game does not in any way prepare you for.

Hey! You can hold up / freeze them without any chance to fail across one tile.
Most, if not all civilian guards here could be approached from behind and either be frozen or stunned with the baton.

Moreover, there are infinite saves, less guards and lots of possibilities to experiment if you try to play on Relaxed Mode.

Just cleared first mission on normal difficulty, and it feels like you do need to start pushing for main objective (the control room) from the start. (If you want to get additional objectives that is)

I've split my 6 officers in three buddy teams, with one team clearing secondary objective and get more valuables, one team go straight inside railway station, and last team circle around to the back of the station. Just managed to get to the control room with only 2 turns left, but managed to do it with no alarm raised.

Equipment wise, I only brought two body armors (bought 1), 5 revolvers, all batons 1 lockpick, 1 flashbang. Only used baton/freeze command for takedowns for first part of mission.

Key is to have visuals on enemy guards, see where they are facing, what route they repeat and have your buddy teams support each other.

General Tips
1. Don't go in guns blazing
2. Equip your guys with batons and tasers. Tasers will alert nearby enemies so only use them when there are enough tasers for the remaining guards or suspects. Batons should be first.
3. Don't try to freeze a guard or a suspect if you can get close enough to stun them.
4. A guard has a line of sight. This means that you can creep behind them if you aren't in their direct line of sight (not directly, a few tiles away).

For the first rail yard mission the general idea is to creep in the shadows and wait for the opportunity to knock the guards unconscious. Ideally, you want to keep up the stealth for the entirety of the mission until the train stops but I didn't.

But optimally, you want to at least arrest the guards outside entirely before attempting to use firearms within the building with the switch. You do this by waiting for the opportune moment and it does mean that you won't use every action point every turn. Stay concealed and only strike when you're in enough range to move and stun all opponents within alerting distance.

There is no strict guide I can give on how to beat the level but I know I beat it using only 1 taser, a bunch of batons and no stun grenades (and the firearms of course). Arresting all suspects without killing anyone is very possible.

Edit: if your outfit is wrong, just go back to the main menu and reload the day, not the [Continue] button. You will be able to repurchase items and reoutfit the rebel cops for the mission.

Any tips on how to arrest the first boss? I got 3 guys in the room he's in and the chance for FREEZE! is still very low. I try to whack him, he's pulled a gun on me. I shot him he's bleeding on the ground but i can't arrest him, when i heal him with a small medkit he's stable but i still can't arrest him, if i use the big medkit he's back to normal again. I don't understand.

I just threw a flashbang in his face lol. That worked. Have you tried shooting him in the arms, not the torso?

Arrest boss:
1. shoot leg/arm/torso to disable them and arrest them before they bleed out
2. sneak up to them from behind, whack with baton and arrest
3. shoot with taser and arrest
4. throw flashbang and arrest
5. technically you can use capturer or freeze to make them surrender, but the odds are too low so I wouldn't suggest doing that since it will instantly alert the boss

Thanks guys i tried the shoot the arm and it works! Still, unable to arrest a wounded criminal even after you stable them up is pretty silly imo.
I just got to the second story mission and hot damn that's a lot of dudes, i counted at least 50 dudes outside the mansion in normal. I dont even know how one can finish those extra jobs with these guys crawling around everywhere.
Also anyone know if the shop restock per mission or timed because i wanted to buy some baton and armor but the shop dont have it right now, and i think i needed some for the second mission

That's kinda where I am at right now. Took all the jobs there are, wasn't very wise with my saves and now I'm stuck with half the progress and no chance of making a single mistake. Had to replay big chunks 3 times already. It wouldn't be so bad if my game wouldn't crash for no reason after 2 hours of continuous gameplay. I tried to save the save slots as much as possible but if I knew what I was getting into from the start I would be even more frugal with them. Playing on normal btw, and can confirm there are ♥♥♥♥ load of guards everywhere.

Number 1 is not 100% true, as shooting him in the leg still doesn´t allow you to capture him for some reason (at least I could only patch him up, not arrest him).
Number 2 should be impossible since the game states you can´t mellee bosses. If it works I would assume a bug.

Incorrect. You shoot bosses in the arms and then proceed to arrest them. Be sure not to patch them up. You are not supposed to patch them up.

Alternatives: stun grenade or tasers.
Edit: to avoid patching them up, either send a copy with no medkit to perform the arrest or just be quick to click on the boss before the interaction loads (you hover your mouse across the orange hand to access the interact menu, like how you pick up items or open doors)

Okay so I’m on this level and I have to find an arcade game it’s in one of the houses but the problem is the movement in the house is limited. I can’t get or interact with anything in it despite it glowing yellow and the actual side mission being there. Is this a glitch or something?
