Stealth upgrade, Disappear in a puff of smoke!
The thing that bugs me most about stealth in this game is not being able to use it if someone is in melee, basically having to risk an attack just to move to activate it just does not feel like it's in the sprite of him as a whole and stealth as a function. Both the Elf and the wizard get a skill that lets them avoid an attack of Opportunity which one could argue is better than stealth in so many instances. The thief who is just as squishy does not even have that option but he has stealth which just doesn't feel as helpful as it should.

So how about an upgrade for the thief under his secondary skill tree (id say the second tier) that lets him activate stealth in melee and then allow him to move away avoiding attacks of Opportunity and getting away. The thief then would be the best in the game at avoiding that attack as the wizard and elf both only would have one miss, so he in theory could have 2-3 or even more on a rare occasion.

It would be very on point for him and i think it would really look cool if it added animation as well.. instead of just fading away, he could toss a flask at his feet creating a puff of smoke as he vanishes.

Stealth would still follow the other rules like passing others in melee range would pop him back out but it would really increase stealth's effectiveness and over all make it a far more useful skill.
