Secret Vendor?
Anyone know how to get the vendor out of the prison cell in the north of the prison? I can interact with him and he asks me to let him out, but I can't find how to get him out.

Yea, this one has been lost on me as well. I have no clue how he got there or how to get him out. I've played a few times and tired different things with different quests but he is still unsolved for me.

Someone answered on the French forum that it's something to do with a quest decision you make earlier. I looked at a guide to clear up all the books and epics on my second run and he is a vendor on the map. I thought he might be important and sell some epic gear, but he doesn't seem to as I got all the achievements for it on my last run. But there is nothing mentioning him in any guide and I got no idea how he gets locked up. My next run I need to take the priestess for her achievements and try nightmare difficulty. If I figure it out I will let you know.

I won't know for a while though, I'm starting a two week holiday tomorrow so won't be on Steam for a while.

Cool.. and yea i've been trying to figure out a few people, apparently the other one, a dwarf priestess is sorta just there unless we are missing something. There are a few jokes with her but no quest.

Yh I found a female dwarf on the last run, missed her first time. She doesn't do anything, but there is a chest in her room with an epic hat.

I did the arena expansion yesterday, that was quite good. I got all the achievements but it feels bad I didn't earn the king of the arena one. It looks like the difficulty and iron man are bugged for that one. I set it to normal, messed about in the locker room for the first one. Took the dwarf, elf, wizardess and barbarian for the first fight to get the 4 man achievement. Then didn't buy any gear for the first four fights and got that one too. But it still feels like I cheated by picking up the nightmare iron man achievement without earning it, but that's the same for most people.

Doing a base game nightmare run with the priestess when I get back from holiday, looking forward to trying it on hard now that I know what I'm doing.
