She will instantly cast it at the start of the following turn (since she goes first), and it will be a guaranteed hit.
Just make sure your Paladin starts a fight in a position from which she can hit something later/does not get stunned or killed off before she gets to go :)

I am gonna take her on my next play, The priestess is fun, but i really enjoyed the paladin. (i restarted the game so i only used her for a handfull of fights. I have no clue why people think she isn't any good, She is a great front line fighter, even better than the dwarf in the early game. Late i think he gets a lot better after the ogre gets dwarf toss too.
