Another option is to move away from him and charge the left side of the screen, take down the lower HP trolls while the dwarf tanks the main guy. I know there are a few troll fights in the game so i don't recall which tactic i took in that particular one. Basically like most fights, it's often easier to take down the lower HP guys first to lower incoming damage and then it's a bit easier to tank.
Which join-able NPC are you using? That can add a few twists to strats.
as far as respec goes, You can always remove some of your KD powers, and then go for burst damage, burn/poison. I also think Ice works well on them if memory serves me correct. The thief, barb, ogre should have most of the points in STR, though you want at least 5 added to agil for them, thief maybe a couple more. later in the game their is more than enough gear to get your other stats boosted. In limis there are also some nice consumables, and gear that really help too, so you don't necessarily need to load up every slot with a heal.
Don't forget, parry is your friend, late game the ranger and dwarf can parry very well, and the thief, ogre, elf are great at dodging. Don't heal them when they are low on health to attract more agro and they can often make them waste turns while they dodge. reserve one or two with a heal to raise them so they don't miss a turn just in case.
It has been a while since i played Limis, But i'm pretty sure i have a save before every battle on my priestess save though the entire game, so maybe i can find the fight and give some better tips if none of that helps. Let us know
Good luck
And utilize freezes, they arent immune to that CC.
