Devs are well aware of the difficulties complain about this fight.
This is why this particular fight will receice a small balance change (in addition to all the others general change in the game) comming in the next big content patch this week:
Quote:
« - Roue de l'infortune : Légère réduction des buffs/debuffs de la roue »
----------------------
Translation:
- Wheel of Misfortune : Small nerf on the buffs/debuff coming from the wheel.
Like Batteran pointed, some peoples might need to revise their strategy after failling this fight. It is supposed to be kinda like a boss/ mid-boss and a huge turning point in the game.
The devs will still keep a close look at the return feedback coming from this fight after the next patch and tune it again if necessary. But keep in mind that this fight IS still supposed to be extremely hard. Especially if you don't adopt the right strategy againts it.
I don't know what difficulties you are playing Eddy, but this fight can still be doable, as you can see a vast majority of players already did it relatively well on the normal and easier difficulties.
The patch is already out. If you are on PC, you should be able to update and download it right now. If you are on Mac, it should come tomorrow.
As for "dice roll" in combat, i suggest you read the other thread trending recently on the forum called "RNG". It should explain to you how this game work.
