And it is one that is ultimately up to you. Please note that there will be multiple different pickups, and you are *not* given a chance to pick up the most powerful ones at the start.
Regarding team wipe end-plate, see here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/969340/discussions/1/2290590620455059524/ -- for now, admire the failure and press ESC to get the menu and decide next step from there. There will come one designed, but I might add a simpler one in the meantime.
Understood, and if I might make a suggestion.
Though i'm fine with the perma-death of squad mates I would appreciate if say your named character upon a TPK would be able to restart with accumulated levels so it feels like even if you lose you're still making progress and though your squad mates might be more disposable, it doesn't mean they are not worth training as they are the only allies you have and even the best warrior can't survive alone.
- You mean, upon death, automatically restart the current level, but allow current XP and Skill-levels to remain of the main ('you') character?
Yea, generally speaking that is a good summary.
TPK is a Dungeons & Dragons term for when the whole team dies.
I'll have to give it another shot, been awhile, though the last time I gave the game a shot was a few months ago. Turned out I still remembered the levels so well I didn't lose a single person.
Though I suppose I can do an intentional party wipe to see the mechanic in action. Also no, I never did find a second sword, so I'll have to find it this time around.
