Yes he's paid off.
So basically if you have seedlings in your inventory...make sure to buy the new planting seed vehicle...then you load the seedlings into the vehicle by standing next to the vehicle and hitting "E" key to load the seedlings. Then you got to clear the stumps in the forest...using the stump removal vehicle. once you clear the stump..you can plant a tree unless there is a orange circle that is displayed while you are trying to plant.
Orange circle likely means a stump is nearby. Hope that helps answer your question
I still have 7 trees to plant but don't get the ' press F' option anymore. I also don't get any orange circle's while moving over the field as you mentioned
The only way I know where to plant a tree is in the options telling me to hit the "F" key. That is while I am driving all over the field looking for the 'F" option to appear. No highlighted area appears anywhere showing me where to plant a tree. I still have 7 trees left to plant but don't get the ' F" option anymore. What am I missing here?
All stumps are removed
hmm thats very weird....only thing i can think of is that your out of forest space? Just double check your orange circles...and make sure they are not stumps....when you see the orange circles its possible that they might be your newly planted trees MIXED in with stumps?
Did you have to deforest the entire map to pay the uncle off AND afford the new tractor and log trailer to even use the new tools? I probably shouldn't have started a new play through, but I was wanting to get the gardening tools too and see if anything had changed prior to my last stopping point.
No there is a forest way up in the top right corner of the map that you have to cut down. I don't think anyone would have been able to deforest the whole map unless they were very very dedicated to the game LOL
Well, I more meant, did paying off the uncle and buying the new tractor and trailer to use the new equipment require you to buy every forest that you can buy and process all of them to make $250,000-$350,000? That's what I'm curious about.
Also, I'm curious about whether cutting down forests where wild mushrooms and herbs grow, cutting down all the trees in them renders those areas unable to produce mushrooms and herbs anymore.
I have 4 to go can't find anywhere to place them.. this is a issue......
No. Once you get the new equipment it gets easier to make money. The new log trailer holds a lot more logs so you can process more at one time. Also, make as much of the high paying dishes and herbal shampoo as you can selling them off. Once you get a new tractor and trailer you can sell the old logging trailer to make money. I also discovered a neat trick. If you take your logs and put them through the mill as logs so that they come out the side with the log holder you can then pick them up and run them back though the mill increasing your bark output faster. I've done that a few times with the same logs in order to get 11,000 to fill up the trailer. That also makes a good amount of money when you sell it. Sell your chip boards and plank crates off as fast as you can make them. Clear cut forests you own and haul those down to the drop point. Try to stay close to your mill though because otherwise you'll spend 75% of your time hauling logs to to the mill. I own 9 forests around the mill and have most of the clear cut now. Hope that helps a little.
And yes, since we do now have tree replanting I'm not going to shy away from clear cutting since I eventually will be able to have the means to re-plant. I'm not going to pay the uncle a dime until I've got the new equipment though.
