How do I get into the attic in the house? I’ve tried jumping on the ladder and it doesn’t reach

stand in front of the hatch door. from the landing below and look up, E should then open it.
I spent ages walking round the roof trying to work out why i had not fixed it, only to stumble over the loft....arghhhhhhhhhhh

Relax. Sounds simple, but that's the most important part. When the ladder is down, walk until you bumb into it, then walk forward and jump. Done. No jumping around, no wild tactics. Just a short little jump while walking forward.

is there like positional commands that i can type to port me into the attic?

I use a gamepad but yes, i have to stand in front and jump while moving forward. note that when you reach the top you are facing the wall over your dock. what i do especially when re building and painting is after i am inside the attic i close the stairs so i do not fall through when im moving around working. Increasing control sensitivity increases response time so it could be maybe you can try increasing slowly till u get the speed you can work with. I also maxed my pov and keep crosshair always on no matter what. these are what helped me so much in game play.

If you send me the save, I can jump up for you. You don't really need to go up there other than to repair it.

i only want the one with 6000 dollars on it, its right in front of the stairs. I think its like the third one or something. Its got all the quests done i think except finishing the house attic. Im not having much luck with it but if you can help me out it would be awesome.

btw if u keep crosshairs always on do FOV at 100% stare slightly upwards you will ascend the stairs. slightly looking up works great on climbing scaffolding. EDIT: btw in farmers dynasty u look up to ascend but no jump in lumberjack dynasty u have to do a small jump, reason being the attic stairs almost touch the floor in FD but not LD. IMO UMEO should have mirrored building and climbing from FD to LD as in FD its so much easier to build climb and paint than in LD

also if u want to remodel house with new wood/paint note that at the base of the stairs u see 1 unfinished plank, that section must be renewed from the basement, as soon as u walk in the basement the ceiling section to the back left of the shelving you are facing is the spot to renew with new wood and paint, else it looks funny, also when you enter the vanity the back wall you face must be painted if u r painting inside of house else u see the flickering orange line in the living room. if you want to paint the exterior of house then renew the roof and beams so u can paint the eaves or it looks not so good, the attic floor you can leave unfinished except the 2 spots where the folding stairs go as that part you see on the ceiling when the stairs are closed.
