"What the hell is this?" -- while driving along

Just finished stumping and seeding the back patch for Logan (which is how those implements unlock), and was on the way to seed Carson's farm (finally) nearby (this quest picks up in chapter 2 but can't be completed until the seeder unlocks)... and "Roman" blurts this out as I'm driving through the woods.

At first I thought I had found Logan early by accident, but the map shows him far away. I've stopped and looked around (and saved the game) but even with right-clicking, nothing's obvious. Is there a poacher-trapped deer around? Did he see Bigfoot?! (That would be epic!)

Derp, never mind! "Roman" was driving away from a lake which, in the rain and dusk, looked like any other lake; and after getting far enough away I didn't even notice there was a lake nearby, he suddenly realizes the lake is polluted! -- except he doesn't SAY this, so I was left wondering what he heck he was even saying "What the hell" about. Ironically.

This is a plot point which will be triggered as other missions are finished. If I recall correctly, the very next mission nearby, to plan 20 trees, continues this main plot side. (And earns an old timberjack.)
