logs to planks
Does anyone know the logs-to-planks ratio? In other words, How many logs make how many plank skids? If I have only 1 dryer (4 slots) open, I'd like to know how many logs to process to fill that whole dryer (all 4 slots).

Thanks!

this is the first thing. And the second is, you have a pallet with 100 planks, so you can dry 400 in one dryer. In all dryer's you can also load 3200 planks for two weeks.

You can only estimate because size does matter. Two logs per plank crate works for me. So to fill the dryer you need 64 logs. You can throw in a few extra logs to make sure you have enough then air dry any left over plank crates.
