Mechanic II, III, Builder III, Trader II, III

How do I get these? I see no way to increase these skills to these levels.

I really wish a dev would clear this up. Are these skills even IN the game at release? If so then some idea of how to get them would be nice. I can't even paint vehicles any longer.

I picked up Builder III (painting) automatically. I don't know what triggered it. I finished what seems to be all the story items (James, major buildings, and Chef Chef). I still have no idea how to get Mechanic and Trader.

You did the final Chef quest? I think I locked myself out for the next 2 seasons with this one, didn't think there's a quest that will need Apples, so I processed and sold them day 1 :D Is the car you get cool? :o

The vehicle seems to be an intermediate version prior to the Ponsie Buffalo. I don't know how much better or worse it is than just the advanced trailer. I also had to wait a month before I could finish the apples because of the same reason.

Ahh damn, well it does look at least twice the size of the Old Trailer, and not needing a Tractor to pull it is just another 1-up in my eyes :D I have 1 more question, if you don't mind? There's a Scorpion-like machine in the city as well, any idea how to get that? Seen it in the trailer even, but I don't see any quest opportunity, or any way to interact with it so far ...

After you finished the quest with the eggs/milk/apples, you will automatically get the quest for the tree cutter.

The way I finished the Chef quest with all those apples, is to buy them from Lily every day. It's annoying because she only has a few apples each day, but if you keep sleeping and going back and forth everyday, you'll eventually get all the apples you need. It's a bit faster than having to wait for all your apples to grow back. Unless you don't want to spend the money, then I guess waiting is the better option lol.

Adding bee hives & the scarcrows I believe helps reduce the time for apples to re-appear on the trees.

Yep, I have seen them in 2 locations where apple trees are. I think they are 150euro each.

oh I never knew there were scarecrows in the game haha. I will have to buy them. where were they?

Hmm one of the scarecrows is in the main apple tree area next to your greenhouse, the other is next to the fire pit behind the barn, near the river.

You have to use Engineer sight to see their green outline.

Not absolutely sure, but I think I got mechanic 3 after putting a roof on fuel tank building
