Yeah, I just found it. I suppose I can raise enough money, if I keep adding logs to the mill and selling the wood chips and bark...
The 2 store west of the map are easily accessible by bus. For the other one, I'd recommend you move your old truck to the one of the store that has the most product for sale or to Lily's house and you use the teleport from old truck and to your fork lift at home every day to purchase the goods. Later on when you get rid of your old vehicle, you can move them to other stores to take advantage of the instant teleport to more different stores.
Go around the map, find out which store offer the most raw food before moving your old truck to that desired location.
Later on in the game you'll probably stop doing cooking all together because you'll make enough money with just the wood work. Last advice, buy the furniture factory first, pay your uncle after. You make money way way way way way way way way faster with the furniture factory.
Though I'm not sure I can handle a vehicle with a cruising speed of 60 mph (kph?), a working speedometer, and no masking tape over the gas gauge. If it had a functioning radio, I think my mind would short circuit...
Definitely - took me weeks to save enough money for the factory but then only a few days later I was able to pay off uncle and start buying better equipment. Just be sure to save 200k before buying the factory to unlock trader 2 skill.
I still cook since the unique recipes make it more worthwhile doing the daily shopping trips - hell its finally even worth buying honey. Although I suspect they’re selling me my own honey from my hives since I struggle to produce more than a few jars daily but some stores have upto 9 per day to sell!
I got given them by the aunt in chapter 3
