After having hard time grinding stumps I followed the tips given by other players. The one that worked well was to drive over them with the tractor a front wheel either side. I am using the Gecko smart one. I do not lower the grinder as most of the stumps are too high and I keep the Tractor in gear 1 as making it struggle a bit helps as a brake. Gives you that extra bit of time to hit the F key when it turns green. If I miss it I just tap the reverse and then a quick tap to the forward. There will be the odd one that is more frustrating due mainly to the uneven ground but most go well with this method. Also you can start to slide a bit on a slope so head downwards. If the tractor gets a bit bogged you have to then engage the CVT 2 to get it out of it. No more trying to find a middle some are way off anyway and no more lowering the tip. Just get the yellow and wait for the green. Oh and a bit of Luck helps.

Both the grinder and planter suck, frankly.

Need to have the grinder be front mount and make the raise/lower actually work. As in raise the thing so you can position it over stumps and then lower it. As it is, it never needs to be lowered and if you do it is like an anchor just stops everything from working at all.

On the planter...only thing that may work is to make it clip through the ground...it is terrible on anything except flat ground. On this thing...take out the raise and lower all together and raise it higher so it might works a little bit on uneven ground, that is 80% of the areas we work in.

The grinder though, my god what a horrible design. It's mostly OK on uneven terrain it can be a nightmare. Grind stumps is one of two things that make me crazy in this game...the other is loading the dryer, not hard, just mind numbingly boring.

A fairly good 'fix' for the stump grinder would be to implement the VERY obvious, and OFTEN suggested, hand brake for all vehicles. But apparently that is beyond the devs programming capability.

yea funny ya have to load the dryer manually but can grab the pallets with the crane to unload
