Timed Missions
I've tried two missions, one involving taking some fruit to a store, the other, taking some freshly baked pies to a store. I always save my game, in case the timer runs out.

On both of these missions, I hit every "general store" and got nothing. Let me know if I'm wrong, but I don't have to do anything to complete these missions except show up at the right place, correct?

None of the delivery quests that I have done involved going to a store, only taking pie or fruit to a person. The target should populate on the map after you accept the quest, and it usually across the map from where you receive the quest.

I tried two and both ran out of time the second I hit accept. never had a chance.

I despise timed missions in any video game. The devs think it adds "replay value" to the game.

I did 2 transport missions so far - the second one ended up at the person at a general store, while the first one looked like it would end up at a store, but the person decided to take a walk in the meantime. I ran out of time on that one because I realized too late that I was chasing a moving target (that most likely also travels the map in a straight line in noclip mode).
I decided that I'll not be doing those missions in the future, because the small-ish reward they give isn't really worth my time.

The developers mentioned a long time ago that these timed mission will get easier for players as they learn the map, & all the various routes that they can travel in the world. Similar to how you most likely know all the shortcuts IRL for your home town, but can easily get "lost" in new areas.

Also, there is the buggy, which many players have mentioned is very handy to travel quickly about the map.

Biggest thing is to make sure the map marker is set for the current quest, & it will then stay locked on the target, which will greatly assist you in tracking down the individuals, even when they are traveling.

Doesn't work very well. I've clicked on a quest, only to later find that the quest has "un-clicked". I've quit playing the game. Needs more work.

I've tried 2 of these timed transport missions. Both times, the person I was supposed to deliver to was asleep in their house - in the middle of the day - and time ran out while I stood there, waiting for them to come out. I'm just going to ignore the transport missions from now on 🙄

As noted by the dev, if the person is not at home or in a particular store, you then have to chase them down, which will then complete the quest once you connect with them.

The AI can be seen in map mode, traversing the map. Chase them down and the quest should complete.

No, that's what I'm saying... the quest icon SHOWS that the person is asleep in their house, even in the middle of the day. Is this just a bug?

I've been away from the game for so long. (Got a warning from Steam admin due to a negative comment. No vulgarity.) I'll return and check it out. Sounds interesting.
