Hotel Repair Mission

The mayor wants me to do a quick repair on the hotel. I've done both main buildings and the outdoor patio behind the hotel. I've also traveled the rooftops and checked all of the fences, looking for stuff. Apparently, there is something missing, because the scenario will not tick off.

You have to get onto the two balconies at each end there are some walls up there. If you get stuck there and find it hard to get off click on your pick up or any other vehicle you have.

I've already scoped out the balconies twice. I suggested to the devs to have some kind of meter showing what percentage of a repair has been done or is left to be done.

I found those railings were a bit tricky. So many hammers I missed one piece. I went round all the floor boards and railings three times with engineers sight. It would be helpful to know how much is left. There is one house Robins a repair job that cannot be completed as the hammers are missing from the roof and show up below through the window but you cannot access them. It is in the upper left of the map. I am not the only one to let the devs know but I don't think it has been fixed yet.

Do you remember what you sleep and food ratings were? If you fall below 60 on either one your engineers sight wont work. No red areas will show up. You will still see any hammers but they are easy to miss without the red cast.

Good to know. I had no idea the food and sleep thing affected repairs.

I wasn't aware of that either. Next time Robins house comes up for repair I will do a save then try it to see if that was the problem. I usually give it a miss as I don't want to lose social points due to not completing a job.

I had 100 food and 90 sleep and it made no difference to Robins house. The roof still cannot be finished. It shows up red but the hammers are missing. They can be seen through a window below but do not change colour so you can use them.

The only way to repair this house is to glitch into the house. There is a Peanut video that shows you how to do it. The window where you can see the hammers is where you need to park the old pickup. Drivers side as close the wall as you can get it. Teleport to another vehicle then teleport back to the old pickup. Hit the exit button as soon as you can and you will exit the truck before the house graphic is complete. If your fast enough you wind up inside the house. Make the repairs then teleport out. Took me a couple of times to get it done.

@Tazmo: What if the mission is already completed? Other than settling some OCD concerns, does it make a difference?

Only benefit for me was to get the mission off the map and lose that orange triangle. You do suffer a small rep hit if you don't finish a job timely though.
